Why we Love to Laugh?

There is a common notion that being a comedian means that no one will take you seriously. Most people would see comedy as merely that which makes you laugh. However the reality is that beneath the jokes or funniness – lies the reality of human behaviour and more controversially, race relations. It is indeed funny when our lives are being exposed by the catalyst which holds up a reflection of us, and the need for us to be confronted by the realities that we would choose to deny. The difference however is that the content of the joke though so close to reality it is like sugar coated to bitter medicine. The laughter takes away the sting.
